The community fridge helps to reduce food waste and supports individuals in making sustainable everyday choices. Activities can also increase the sense of community and develop the urban culture of the neighbourhood.

Are you interested in starting a community fridge in your neighbourhood or to hear more about it?

A guide book and materials to set up a community fridge are launched at the event. They are created and compiled based on experiences collected during the community fridge pilot project. Design has played a key role as part of the concept development. You are warmly welcome to hear the introduction to running a community fridge. In the workshop, it is possible to network with like-minded people and develop ideas into concrete actions.

The event is open to everyone and is free of charge. It is aimed specifically at active citizens, groups and communities interested in setting up their own community fridge.

For practical reasons, registration for the event is required. Maximum 30 participants and online participation is also possible. More information & registration via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/run-your-own-fridge-perusta-oma-yhteisojaakaappi-intro-workshop-tickets-117666029261

You are warmly welcome to join – alone or together with your friends!
