Jump into a design adventure!
For the first time, Children’s Design Week will be held at Annantalo, where kids can participate in the Design Exploration designed by Etana Editions and SuoMu, the Finnish Association of Design Learning, and take part in fun exercise trails. The second-floor exhibition space will be used to develop solutions and build machines that make the world a better place.
The various workshops offer ways to utilize recycled materials and encourage kids to find solutions for a more sustainable world. At Annantalo, kids can invent and build machines from scrap IT equipment, design and make lamps from recycled materials, explore colours using authentic test tubes and pipettes, or learn about clothing and textile repair while co-creating a wall rug.
