Data-Driven Design Day

Helsinki Design Week is arranging the 6th Data Driven Design Day on Tuesday the 8th of September. Due to exceptional circumstances, the event will be held as a digital conference that can be attended from anywhere in the world!

Data-Driven Design Day is a full-day event held annually during Helsinki Design Week. At the conference you’ll hear inspiring stories about developing products and services based on data to enhance customer experience and business. You can expect thoughts and practical tips on how to utilize data in design from experts in the field. DDDD is aimed at professionals working in the field of data, marketing, creating and design.

The theme for the event is “Committed to Excellent Services for Everyone”. Under this headline, there are presentations that offer new perspectives into data-driven design. Service designer offers a delicious contradiction. On the one hand, qualitative data, interpretation and intuition, on the other hand, the rationalist, numerical weighting of quantitative data. What is the correct ratio?

During the event, multiple stories from different fields of industry will be heard. The speakers represent some of the most well-known Finnish Organisations such as Kesko, Fortum, Posti (The National Post Office), YLE (The National Boradcasting Company), Sanoma Media Finland, HSL and Helen. There will be some inside stories shared that you can’t hear anywhere else! The speakers will be announced later in the summer.

Lassi A. Liikkanen, PhD, Executive Producer of Data-Driven Design Day and Lead Product Designer at Qvik Ltd is in charge of the conference programme.

The tickets are now on sale! Early bird price 39€ (normal price 49€) is valid until the 15th of July 2020.
