VALO/ON 2017, held for the first time, gathered more than 1000 lighting pioneers together in Helsinki. This is what the event looked like.

VALO/ON 2017, held for the first time, gathered more than 1000 lighting pioneers together in Helsinki. This is what the event looked like.

More than 1000 lighting professionals gathered together in the VALO/ON 2017 event, that presented new views to lighting field regarding architecture, lighting technology and electrical engineering.

The attendees were from various fields, including architecture, interior design, electricity and lighting design and from both public and private sectors.

In addition, 29 leading public space lighting companies shared their their latest most interesting innovations and services.

In the programme, there were also Illuminating Engineering Society that organize programme in honor of the Day of Light a light show from Belenos group of Arts.

The keynote speakers were a light designer Daniel Rybakken and Don Slater.

The next VALO/ON will be organized in 2019.
