Open call for Helsinki Design Week programme 2016

The open call for Helsinki Design Week programme 2016 is open until May 27. The process has been developed to serve event organizers even better.

It is the time of year when Helsinki Design Week begins to gather together the most interesting events for the upcoming festival. Apply for the 2016 programme.

Helsinki Design Week is the largest design festival in the Nordic countries. Each year the important part of the programme is produced by individual event organizers. The festival programme is curated and you can apply for the programme through the open call. The open call for programme entries is open until May 27.

The event organizers are important stakeholders for Helsinki Design Week. This year the open call has been developed to serve event organizers better. The event organizers can sign in the system and edit and update the event information. The development process brings along a participation fee.

You can propose an exhibition, an opening party, a fashion show, an open studio, a seminar – or something totally different. Helsinki Design Week is a multidisciplinary festival, so your event can be related to any field of design: product or service design, architecture, fashion, graphic design, game design… the choice is yours. Last year we brought together more than 100 event organizers and almost 200 events all around the city.

Helsinki Design Week 2016 will be held on 1.–11.9.2016. Your event dates must fall within this time frame. The selected events will be part of the official festival programme and its marketing communications.

Read more and submit your event by 27 May.
