Helsinki Design Week 2015 – how to get there

Helsinki Design Week has over 200 events spreading across Helsinki. See how to find the main venues.

Helsinki Design Week’s main venue in 2015 is the L3 Design Dock in the Jätkäsaari district. Main events will also be organized at the National Museum of Finland, in Kattilahalli in the Suvilahti area and at the Cable Factory. 

1. L3 Design Dock, Tyynenmerenkatu 6
Jätkäsaari can be easily reached via tram lines 9 and 6T. The nearest stops are Huutokonttori and Bunkkeri. The L3 building is located between these two stops on the eastern shore of Jätkäsaari. The entry to the exhibitions, which are located in the 3rd and 4th floor, is through the south end* of the building, on the shore side. 

2. Design Market, The Cable Factory, Tallberginkatu 1

The Cable Factory can be easily reached by tram 8. The nearest stop is Länsisatamankatu. The Ruoholahti metro station is also located close by.

3. The National Museum of Finland, Mannerheimintie 34
The National Museum can be easily reached via tram lines 4 and 10. The nearest stop is Kansallismuseo.

4. HDW Children's Weekend, Kattilahalli, Sörnäisten rantatie 22
Kattilahalli can be easily reached by several buses, eg. lines 16 and 55. The Sörnäinen and Kalasatama metro stations are also located close by.

*The south end of the bulding is situated closer to the Bunkkeri tram stop, further from the city centre.
