Midsummer

Cottage, sausage, sweats – it’s the holy combo when doing Midsummer in the Finnish way. If you’re about to stay in the city, you’ll find plenty to do in Helsinki. Check out Stadin Juhannus, for example, to enjoy a maritime atmosphere and listen to music by Finnish artists on the island of Lonna from 22 to 24 June. Another opportunity is the Hernesaari beach where you can have Midsummer sauna, watch the bonfire and fry sausages on open fire while listening to Irina, Roope Salminen & Koirat and Menneisyyden vangit.
