Are you interested in new views to lighting field regarding architecture, lighting technology and electrical engineering? Register now to the new event for lightning professionals VALO/ON 2017.

The full programme has been now published here. The event is organized for the first time from 1 to 2 February in Event Center Telakka in Hernesaari.

Light PechaKucha is a lightened version of the popular PechaKucha format. Five speakers will speak about light from their own point of view.

Light PechaKucha has a special, multidisciplinary  approach that present various areas of lighting. The speakers are designer Stefan Lindfors, photographer Laura Iisalo, the Lux Helsinki Festival director and Granlund’s Senior Consultant Ilkka Paloniemi, interior designer Tatu Ahlroos, and lighting designer Reija Pasanen from Ramboll.

In addition the event presents 29 leading public space lighting companies and their latest most interesting innovations and services.

The keynote speech is given by a light designer Daniel Rybakken, who mainly focuses on daylight and how to artificially recreate its subconscious effect. The other keynote speaker Don Slater reflects on light from the point of view of urbanization and urban lighting and planning.

In the programme, we will also see the Illuminating Engineering Society that organize programme in honor of the Day of Light, the popular PechaKucha and a light show from Belenos group of Arts.
