Guerrilla Lighting is an event series that started in the UK and presents and owns the city and its architecture in different light through quick flashes. The purpose of the Guerrilla Lighting event is to draw attention to the lighting of the environment – what is being lit and why and whether residents can impact the lighting of their environment.

Guerrilla Lighting in Jätkäsaari is part of the Architectural Lighting Course at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki on 14 September, and its results are presented in a panel discussion at the Showroom on the following day.
