Töölö Fashion Institute makes their famous "trikoopötkylä" tricot scarves of Marimekko wastefabric and other recycled materials at Design Market. You can take part in "TFI serger rally" by bringing your old t-shirts and other tricot leftovers to feed the machines. Voluntary fee.
Töölö Fashion Institute was founded 2006. It's mission is to spread the fun of serger machines, DIY and recycling. Töölö Fashion Institute is: president Liisa Jokinen, headteacher Aki Luomanpää and creative director Suvi Saloniemi.
