Copenhagen Fashion Week
Every February and August, Copenhagen hosts Northern Europe's largest fashion event, Copenhagen Fashion Week. The event is organized by the Danish Fashion Institute - a newly founded network organization created by and for the Danish fashion industry. In addition to trade fairs and catwalks the city is a big happening. The squares fill up with events from skateboarding competitions to open-air dances, and fashion show after-parties bring interesting artists to the city; WoodWood ( http://www.woodwood.dk) had for instance booked Rub-n-tug to play at Culture Box this August.
Greetings from Pecha Kucha!
Even though the infrastructure is set, there is no such thing as a common subject when it comes to Pecha Kucha. That was apparent for the second time running in Helsinki at G18 hall on May 23 when another group of speakers was invited on stage by Helsinki Design Week.
